Laser for Gustav!

Gustav is a 7 year old neutered-male pitbull mix. He came in for an urgent exam on May 29 after eating a stick over the weekend which punctured the back of his throat!

After preforming a sedated oral exam and x-rays, Dr. Kimberly saw there was a wound in the back of his throat, but no remnants of the stick itself. We used our LiteCure Laser on Gustav’s throat area at that appointment and again a few days later, to help with pain and inflammation and to speed up the healing process

He had a lot of energy at his follow up and seems like he is feeling so much better! He is ready to enjoy the sunshine and head to the river.
